Sticky Paws potato print competition!

Sticky fun for EVERYONE…

ALERT: the first bit of this activity is best done with a sharp knife.

Take one humble spud, and cut it in half – making sure it has a really flat bottom.

Draw on your paw-print…

…and excavate around the shapes to about 5mmm deep.

Now apply paint in all sorts of yummy colours!

It works rather nicely on envelopes, too. I’m putting this one aside for the Inland Revenue next month.

It’s also hugely fun to print with real food. This one was made using just JAM.

And this is the competition:

make a paw-print using some food of your choice, but don’t tell me what it is; send me a photo and we can all try to guess! Best entry wins a special mystery prize.
