I do love a model village (well there’s a surprise), so what better place could there be to take Bambang on his first ever trip out than Wimborne Model Town.
He could wander happily along the little streets that were just the right size for him,
look in through the window at Woolworths…
eyeball a customer in the tea rooms…
and wait timidly at the door, hoping that Wednesdays is free teas for tapirs day, as he forgot his purse.
There are toys to choose…
the dream wheels to look at…
and calls to make.
All this excitement is quite enough for a tapir to get caught short, but that turned out fine too.
Thank you Josie for the felt Bambang, the outing and the mint choc ice cream (full size).
What an amazing looking place, Bambang looks like he’s having a lot of fun.
Hi is! I do hope you and Bagl find a model village on your travels, too…
What a perfectly proportioned and excellent introduction to village life for a tapir Abroad! He is reduced to tackling full sized pizzas on my branch of his hols. Which means he will not return home reduced…
I look forward to seeing – there’s no such thing as too big around the tum for a tapir (as long as he can still fit into his dancing sash…)
This pics put a big smile on my face!
Hi Zoe, how lovely of you to say so, and thank you very much for visiting – so good to ‘see’ you here again!
