Illustrators for War Child was an online auction of artwork, prints and books by over 70 illustrators, raising nearly £6000 for a cause that is close to all our hearts.

Hoorays and thank yous, to Leigh Hodgkinson who had the idea and made it happen, to Nosy Crow – Tom and Kate especially – for supporting us, and from me personally to the wonderfully kind and generous bidder who won my picture, I felt very honoured.

I was a lucky bidder too – see ’50 rabbit ears’ by Leigh herself, settling into their new home!

Though it would be mean to favour any particular ear, 41 and 42 are rather nice…
