Dixie and Percy, Mum and me – on the road again!
Hop on in the back seat and join us for a spin…
On Tuesday October 29th at 11am I shall be at the Wessex Children’s Book Festival, reading and drawing from Dixie O’Day in The Fast Lane, this time with a workshop activity in which the children all design a crazy car of their very own to take away. This was a riotous success at Henley; you can read very lovely and generous accounts of the day from @chaletfan and @childledchaos who came along.
On Saturday November 23rd at 11am there’s an unmissable chance to hear both Mum and I in conversation at the Richmond Literature Festival. We shall be chatting about working together on our first ever collaboration, and reading a thrilling extract with live-drawing.
TOOT TOOT! We really hope to see some of you along the way – do call by for a custard cream and say hello!
I do hope that you remember to pack a thermos of tea and some cucumbers sandwiches for the drive – and a hat, it’s getting very cold out there for convertibles x
What good advice! Possibly some thermals too – I can really imagine them in slightly scratchy oatmeal longjohns…
