Lots of mini-Marthas (and Montys and Pips) getting ready for their visit to Hay Festival. The event has sold out – if you managed to get tickets, hooray! I’m so looking forward to seeing you there. We’ll be making dear little matchbox beds, like this one.
The idea of a festival of hay for bunnies is something I find enormously appealing, in my small rabbity way.
Oh and the G is for goodnight, in case you were wondering…
Have the most wonderful time! x
Thank you Annie, I really did! Mini Marthas and Squeak puppets and lots of busy children…X
That is completely adorable, I wish I was coming. Enjoy x
Thank you so much Nikki – it was lots of fun. One day, I hope! X
A calligram! It’s only taken me three days.
Clara, thanks you so much for a lovely event at Hay. The girls adored it and we wanted to thank you for such a delightful session, it was so lovely of you to put so much effort and care into it. Their bunny boxes are very treasured items, although if you shook Phoebe upside down that night you would find a stash of your lovely buttons and ribbons. It was so fantastic for them to meet a real-life author and despite Aoibhe going mute upon meeting you, she has been talking about it since.
Thanks again, Marion, Aoibhe and Phoebe.
Ps I didn’t realise Shirley Hughes is your mum. We Heart Alfie xxx
Hello Marion, Aoibhe and Phoebe, thank you so much for calling by – it’s really lovely to see you here! So – a calligram: you remembered to look, hooray! I am very pleased to know, and will be dropping the word into conversation whenever I can…
It was a joy to meet you all at Hay, I’m so glad you enjoyed the session and have something nice as a momento too.
Would the girls like to be in Martha’s Happy Bunny Club? There’s a rather nice badge and certificate to go with it. I shall email you.
