I’m just a little proud and chuffed to see this new paperback edition of Muffin and the Expedition – out today! Yippee!
All dressed up in it’s new cover and looking very fresh and summery, it’s a warm chocolatey hug of a book. In this story, the second in the series, little Muffin – the yummiest small brown bear – heads off on an adventure…
and finds out that, wherever you go, it’s having your friends with you that’s important.
Being a bear and thinking primarily of his stomach, Muffin enjoys choosing his provisions…
I loved playing expeditions when I was small: packing my bag, choosing my elevenses, making a map…
an outing to the park, or just to the bottom of the garden: it’s the perfect weekend for an expedition, so why not suggest to your children that they put on their wellies and raincoats and have one of their own?
ohhhh looks lovely – I’m going to head off to Amazon to get it later today 🙂
We read ‘The Bear With Sticky Paws’ last night with H again – the one where the bear refuses to sleep – it’s suddenly become the new bedtime book favourite for her ! (so thank you for making it exist!)
Double thank you for your very very kinds comments!
I can’t seem to leave these bears alone and love to write about them.
Delighted to hear that ‘Sticky Bear’ is popular with H: part of his appeal might be his wild amoral side – he does all the naughty things I would like to have done but was (fortunately) always too well-behaved…
OMG Muffin looks absolutely adorable, I can see the Tinkerous Toddler falling for him!
Thank you so much – how kind of you to say!
(I think the feeling will be mutual…)
