I think I haven’t properly introduced him yet…
He lives on my desk, and can only deal with small emergencies (because he’s only small himself after all, and also he has no pants). But I appreciate his reassuring presence nonetheless, and feel sure he’s looking out for me.
Perhaps you’re too rational and grown-up for such things… but if you too have a little something on your desk or in your bag or in some way near at hand, please introduce me!
I don’t have a little something at hand but I really feel i need one. I will look to rectify immediately!
Ps: I think your little bear looks like he might prefer some little bloomers to pants!
So lovely to hear from you – thank you! Yes, why not look out for a special little lucky thing… it’s a bit of nonsense I suppose, but it’s nice too…
and as for a little pair of bear-bloomers – I LOVE it! xx
Awww, does he have a name? I want a bear for my desk, but the children would immediately steal him and make him their own. I am most definitely not too grown up for such things as I have a full sized Bagpuss and a very dog-eared snoopy (which I’ve had for 37 years) on a blanket box in my bedroom. I have now added you to my blogroll as your blog is so gorgeous i feel the need to share it!
Tasha xx
Hello Tasha,
How excellent that you have kept your Snoopy and Bagpuss for all these years… and you must have something for your desk, too! Behind an alarmed fence, perhaps?
I’m very proud that you think I’m worthy of being on your blogroll (which of course I’ve already looked at enviously) xx
(alas, a bear with no- name; it’s all in the heroic self-sacrifice with him…)
