Martha presents: my easy mother’s day card for smaller artists to make – funny bunny style, like me!
All you need is:
- a piece of card in a darkish shade
- some white paint
- a big and a small piece of cotton wool
- crayons
- glue
- assorted collage bits and pieces, to taste!
Squidge the cotton wool into the paint and print onto the card – one big fluffy bunny, one small.
Add ears, face, arms and legs…
and decorate with anything you fancy!
Perfect!
Love it!
Thank you so much!
Will you be making one liek this to your Mummy?
I am expecting short of nothing for Mother’s Day. Other half is away for the week-end and as he has hardly been at home all week, I doubt he will have sorted something out for the children. His own mother might be waiting a while for a card too!
That sounds like a big let-down… we don’t go in for it over-much here either, and if it’s just ‘duty’ or people need chivvying, it hardly seems worth it! Then it just has the feeling of flowers from the garage, if you know what I mean…
BUT!
You ARE a lovely mum and a star of the first order, so I should like to insist that you do one nice thing (or make one nice purchase??!) for yourself. You can deduct the costs from your children’s inheritance!
I am totally loving this idea! So simple but the card looks absolutely fantastic!
Brilliant to hear that – thank you very very much!
Will you be getting a lovely day of special treats on Sunday?
Cute! I am so going to do this with the girls in the morning for their grandma.
Now where did I put the cotton wool?
🙂
Hello! How lovely to hear from you… and I am SO SORRY I didn’t spot your comment arriving until just now – what a twit I am…
I hope you, your girls and their grandma had a lovely Mothers’ Day, and were all (but especially you: I am biased of course!) were spoilt rotten with lots of treats… x
