Queensbridge Primary – here we come…
This is the BEST POSSIBLE WAY to spend World Book Day tomorrow – being part of the Booklinks pop-up Festival…
I’ll be jumping on an early train all excited, and heading for Queensbridge Primary School in Hackney, East London, to meet the nursery classes.
I shall be reading from the Muffin stories and doing some drawing…
then we’ll be getting our sticky paws on the lovely papers and ribbons and buttons and glue I’ve prepared, and each child will be decorating a Muffin of their very own to take home.
I always take a secret little somebody in my pocket to introduce to the children.
And OF COURSE there will be balloons.
Sounds wonderful!
Thank you very much indeed!
sounds brilliant, have fun tomorrow!
I promise not to ‘borrow’ your ideas, however tempted…
Very lucky nursery children!
Thank you so much, Elli! It’s so lovely to meet up with the tiny folk: an always enthusiastic, keenly observant and brutally honest audience!
Sounds like a fantastic day! What lucky children 🙂
Hello Tasha, thanks so much for getting in touch – and for your lovely comment!
I do love World Book Day, a sort of Christmas for all us booky types. (I’m just wondering if I can blow up balloons on the train, or will I get funny looks…?)
Fantastic! Lucky, lucky children! I hope you all have a wonderful day x
Wish I was coming! have a wonderful day, Clara! I’m sure there will be lots of mutual inspiring going on….!
