It’s a big day in the making of my new picture book, Martha and the Bunny Brothers I Heart Bedtime. My brilliantly talented designer at HarperCollins Children’s Books (note I call him MY – I obviously have trouble in accepting that he might just work with OTHER illustrators too…) has taken my text and scribbly roughs and colour notes and transformed them into the layouts I need to get started on the artwork.
To download them first I must get hold of an application called Stuffit Expander. This is my favourite name EVER! Sounds so much like an comfortable elasticated waistband that a stout gentleman might need for his trousers…
Right, finally got a chance to sit down and read this properly – my mother in law is visiting and the kids have kept me busy! LOVE your post.. am SO PLEASED to hear that I am not alone in the messy world… and thanks for the thumbs and tidy up kudos and support 🙂 I think we all need that. Ask me again in 3 months time, how I am doing and I bet I will have to re-tidy it all. But that is after all part of my grand plan!!!

Thank you, Maggy, for starting all this off, it’s a LOT of fun…
your site is fantastic, and I am so cheered to have a new comrade-in-craft, and in our love-hate relationship with clutter!
