This is me on Christmas Day when I was 4. I can’t make out whether I look fed up or just tired, but it seems to perfectly catch that moment when you’ve been in your party clothes for too long.
My Mum remembers that she had flu that year, and sat up in bed on Christmas Eve sewing on the sequins.
